The Genesis G90 is the full-size luxury sedan that is manufactured by the Hyundai subsidiary, Genesis.
Luxury Over Everything
Some car manufacturers charge extra for luxury features. The car company offers heated and cooled front seats, a head-up display, and a power-operated rear sunshade as standard features included in its vehicles.
Additionally, the G90 has an incredibly spacious back seat with plenty of room to stretch out. The dashboard is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen that works in conjunction with hard buttons and knobs to offer both touchscreen and button navigation. Unfortunately, there are no wifi capabilities in the Genesis S90.
Top Safety Pick+
The Genesis G90 includes great safety features. It was named Top Safety Pick+ by the IIHS, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The G90 has driver-assistance features that other companies charge thousands of dollars for, like forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control.
To continue offering a safe and reliable ride, the G90 provides the longest warranty in its class – a limited warranty that covers 5 years or 60,000 miles and a powertrain warranty that covers 10 years or 100,000 miles. In addition to the amazing warranties, Genesis offers complimentary scheduled maintenance. In fact, Genesis dealership staff can even pick up your G90 and bring it to the dealership to service it!
The two models of the G90 have different engines; one has the 5.0-liter V8, and the other has the 3.3-liter V6. Most people prefer the V6 engine because it provides better fuel efficiency at almost the same performance. Both engines work with an eight-speed automatic transmission, so choosing the cheaper V6 option doesn’t require skimping on power.
The Genesis G90 is known for is super comfortable, pillowy ride. The steering is light and exact. The car glides smoothly along highways, and bodies tend to turn with the vehicle. The car is designed to provide plenty of cushion for rough roads.
In 2018, Genesis teamed up with Vanity Fair magazine to design a fleet of G90s that featured unique themes and titles to match. For instance, “A Touch of Sensuality” was a G90 that had a light silver and matte brown exterior with a brown and tan leather interior. “Stardust” was a G90 that had a black velvet cabin with an exterior that was painted a flecked gray. The G90 named “Emerald Dream” had a hunter green and dark brown exterior with a geometric-patterned green leather interior. “The Ruler” had a brick-red and grey exterior with a red leather interior. The G90 called “Refined Understatement” featured a dark blue and white exterior with a black leather interior decorated with silver-dotted piping. Genesis design chief Luc Donckerwolke said of the collaboration, “The 2018 G90 collection has been designed to honor the glamour of Hollywood and break automotive color and trim boundaries. These special editions are just the beginning of what we can imagine for ultimate Genesis tailored luxury.” The astonishing collection and Donckerwolke’s claims say that we can expect even more amazing things from the automotive company.
