Koenigsegg Agera Reveal

Koenigsegg Agera

The Koenigsegg Agera is changing the definition of the word “speed”.

This $2.5 million supercar with 1,360 hp and a mighty engine that is performance-focused, is truly a one-of-a-kind vehicle. Seriously, this car is disgustingly fast.

From its inception back in 2011, it has been a showcase in technical design and passion. Christian von Koenigsegg, the founder and CEO of the Swedish car company, has taken every unconventional turn to make this car an unbeatable machine. Just what is in the Koenigsegg secret sauce, though? Let’s kick it into gear and find out.

The History of the Koenigsegg Agera

The Swedish car company was founded back in 1994 by a 22 year-old Christian von Koenigsegg. His dream? To create the fastest car that the world had ever seen. After many years of research and development, he paired up with David Crafoord to create the Koenigsegg CC, one of the most gorgeous cars in the auto industry at the time. That supercar would lay the foundation for what would eventually become the Agera.

The Thor model comes with a one-tone clear carbon finish paired with white gold leaf and diamond flake highlights. On the back is an insane, snake-supported rear spoiler.

Each of the models comes complete with a 5.0L V-8 engine and 1,360 hp with 1,011lb-ft of torque. With a max speed of 277.9 mph, it is the fastest street legal car in existence.
