Rolls-Royce Ghost

When you think about modern-day luxury in the automobile world, it is hard not to think about Rolls-Royce. This car manufacturer is all about indulgence and elegance.

The Ghost is easily one of the company’s most unique models, as it shot for efficiency and effectivity beyond the prior Rolls-Royce models. With a 2009 release, it changed the game for Rolls-Royce forever.

An Elegant History of the Rolls-Royce Ghost

The Rolls-Royce Ghost was originally debuted to the public back in 2009. It was made as a more affordable and efficient version of the popular Phantom model. Even after its initial debut, designers didn’t make any significant changes for the release, and wouldn’t for almost six years.

Technology in the Spirit of Ecstasy – the Rolls-Royce Ghost

The 2019 Rolls-Royce Ghost features a twin-turbo 6.6L V-12 engine that provides a whopping 563 horsepower. The car has a satellite-aided gearbox that uses GPS data to read the road in front of you, anticipating the need to shift gears. In terms of interior and technology, it makes use of two 9.2 inch screens that create the rear theater system, a starlit sky headliner, and a head-up display.

In 2014, the Ghost II debuted with a reshaped exterior. The bonnet wake channel was tapered, the bumpers were upgraded, and the front air intakes were enlarged, among many other things. The satellite-aided transmission was added, and the Dynamic Driving Package was introduced.
